Wee Helper

Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to personal information sent through the enquiry form on weehelper.com, and the visit tally on the Parklife page. It does not cover a chat assistant running on a shop's own website.

Last updated: 10 October 2026.

Who we are

The controller is Rory Dench, trading as Wee Helper, in Gartness, near Glasgow, Scotland.

What the form collects

If you send the enquiry form, we collect:

We do not ask for payment details through this form. This website does not use tracking cookies, and it does not run advertising scripts.

Visits to the Parklife page

The Parklife page (/parklife) keeps a tally of visits. When that page loads, it asks our own site to add one to the tally. We do not set a cookie. We do not send the visit to an advertising or analytics company. The tally is only a number. It is not tied to your name, email, phone number, or IP address, and we do not sell it.

The tally is there so we can see whether the page is being used. It is not a profile of you, and it is not used to make a decision about you.

Why we collect it

We use these details only to reply to your enquiry, and to deal with any follow-up about that enquiry. We do not sell personal information.

The legal basis is your consent. The form asks you to tick a box before it is sent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect a reply that has already been sent.

We do not use this information to make automated decisions about you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information no longer than we need it to reply and to handle follow-up. You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will, unless a legal duty means we have to keep it.

Who else sees it

Rory Dench reads the enquiry so he can reply. We do not pass these details to advertisers, and we do not share them for anyone else's marketing.

When email delivery from this website is switched on, the message is sent to [email protected] through Cloudflare Email Service, which handles it in order to deliver that email. Cloudflare's privacy notice is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Until that delivery is switched on, the form opens an email in your own email program, addressed to [email protected]. Your email provider then delivers it in the usual way.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

To ask, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm it is you before we act. You can also withdraw the consent you gave on the form, using the same address.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, email [email protected] first and we will try to put it right.

You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for personal information.
